Produktbeschreibung
The book is structured into two sections. The first section starts by presenting some issues of the new education (e.g. demographic education, education for human rights in former communist countries, etc.). Then, there are several chapters dealing with the ethical problems of the teaching process and concerning the education of children with special needs. The authors also present some theoretical ideas and practical samples regarding the IT&C technologies used in education, with a special emphasis on the new Web 2.0 services that are known as social media. The second part emphasizes some interesting problems in social work and in organizational and political communication. The first chapter presents the appreciative supervision and case management in social work, the second is a case study on the semiotics of the discourse of a NGO, and the third tries to decide whether the political blog, during online electoral campaigns, is a way to improve the functioning of democracy.
