This book investigates the possibility of a relationship existing between principals'' leadership frame(s) and school climate in public elementary or middle school level No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon Schools (NCLBBRS) located in the Appalachian Region States. The population includes principals and teachers from all 245 NCLBBRS between the years of 2003 - 2006 in Appalachia who were invited to participate. The sample consists of principals and teachers from 35 schools. Each of the 13 states of this region had at least one NCLBBRS represented. This book is an informative read for any superintendent, principal, teacher, parent, or anyone who may be interested in leadership in exceptional public schools, or leadership in general. The No Child Left Behind Legislation along with NCLBBRS is also introduced. The reader will find that leadership really is perception.
