Este volumen recoge una selección de trabajos (cincuenta comunicaciones más seis ponencias invitadas) presentados en el marco del XI Congreso Internacional sobre el Latín Vulgar y Tardío, que se celebró en la Universidad de Oviedo (Asturias, España) entre el 1 y el 5 de septiembre de 2014. Amplísima es la variedad temática de este conjunto de estudios: de aspectos fónicos, morfosintácticos a léxico-semánticos, pasando por la onomástica, la pragmática o la sociolingüística.
